Cucumber for appian framework is not working for Internet Explorer browser(Not able to login in IE)

Hi,

  I am trying to automate appian application using cucumber framework. I am using cucumber for appian JAR for automating this application. In feature file, I have written Background steps which performs below actions

1) Launch IE Browser
2) Navigate to Application URL.
3) Enter username
4) Enter Password

 I am not able to click on SIGN ON button using these steps. I am getting OBJECT NOT FOUND Exception.

Could you please confirm whether this framework supports IE browser and if supports what is the issue. The same script is working for chrome browser
