Is it possible to set vertical lines on a Line Chart? I there is an option for horizontal lines like in this example https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/19.3/Chart_Reference_Line_Component.html. Is there an option for vertical lines on the x-axi as well?

No.With the existing Line Chart, this is not possible. However you can use the Google Charts Plug-in to achieve it. It bundles a lot more intuitive charts.Find it here - https://community.appian.com/b/appmarket/posts/google-charts-component-plug-in

As the other commenter mentioned, this isn't currently possible. I'm curious though - can you talk a bit more about your use case for including vertical reference lines? What kind of data do you have and how could the vertical reference line be beneficial for you?
Peter, the one case I'm dealing with is to have a vertical line on today's date. That way it can serve as a divider between past data and future data. That is a common case when displaying burndown charts and other date-related data points. Or at least it seems to be from my experience.
Ok great, thanks for the info!
