Thanks for providing the link. I have gone through it. I would like to understand whether we should perform any additional steps other than those mentioned as the website is hosted on- premise and cannot be accessed outside the network.

As described, I do not think there would be additional setup steps. As long as the user's browser is able to access the public internet to hit and render the Appian Cloud site for the embedded content, I think it will work. One thing to note is that the identity provider used for SSO by both Appian Cloud and the internal website would need to be accessible by the Appian Cloud environment.

If I understand your use case correctly, Appian Cloud is not accessing the internally hosted site. The browser running the internally hosted site is accessing Appian Cloud. So I don't know that additional setup is needed but you will need to prove this out.
