While displaying error messages, I want to display an error icon and then the error message. Are there any images that come preloaded with the appian installation and if so how do I use it in the forms?...

You can use any image you'd like with the image component: forum.appian.com/.../Image_Component

By using a gateway, you can display the image based on boolean expression.

Thanks patty. I understand how the image component works. My question was if some images come preloaded in the appian installation. Like for example an error icon?

There are some images within the Appian Common Objects Application (Appian Software>Right hand side: under Add Ons). After importing there is a StandardGatewayError.png under Default Community > Common Objects > ImagesActions>Status Indicators,
