Hi,
Can we manipulate default record search for record grid data?
Thanks in advance!

For now we're basically stuck with the behavior that exists, assuming you're referring to the search bar.
It depends on the source of the record type you use. If you use an expression-backed record, you can define any search you want to through your expression. If you are using an entity-backed record or process-backed record, the search is dependent on fields in the grid. Basically this search will run an "includes" <search term> filter on any field that is included in the record list grid.
What kind of record are you using, and what are you hoping to search by? We might be able to give a bit more guidance depending on your use case.
Thanks for the response. I am using Entity backed record. I was hoping if search can happen only on selected columns rather than all the columns in the record list grid.
Thanks for the response. Yes, I am referring to the search bar in record.
Now that I see Peter's comment, I'm reminded that I converted an Entity backed record to an Expression backed record some time ago - it's gotten MUCH easier to both understand & implement within the past few Appian versions. After I did this conversion, I was able to implement search bar behavior with a pretty high level of fine-tuning. Probably worth looking into for your use case.
