Setting Appian Windows Services to start Automatically

I am currently setting up an on-prem install of Appian in my organization's AWS environment.  We have our servers set to shutdown at midnight, and boot back up at 6am.  I followed the instructions to Install Appian as a Windows Service but noticed that doing sets up the services so that they have to be started manually.

How can I configure the services to start automatically when Windows starts up?  Is it as simple as setting the services to start automatically in the services manager, or does the approach need to change considering there are dependencies between the Appian Services and the data/search server?

It's worth noting that when searching for an answer to my question, I came upon a similar question on the community site but considering that it is 2 years old and doesn't appear to have an accepted answer, I figure I'd ask again.
