I accidentally moved a folder into another folder. Is there a way to take this folder back out? I've tried selecting move again but it only gives me the option to move it into another folder.
Thanks.

A folder can only be moved to another folder or a top-level Knowledge Center. AFAIK there is no way for a folder to be a top-level object, there must always be a KC above it. In most cases if you accidentally moved one, you should be able to move it back to its original location, provided you know what that location was.
I've got a couple of rule folders as parent level folders in my application (the only dependent is the application itself), but it looks as though if you move one into another folder, you can no longer remove it to make it a parent level folder again. Just checking if I was missing anything.
Sorry, I had thought you meant document folder. Rule folders can be top-level of course. I thought there was a built-in way to move a folder back to top, but I'd have to check.
No worries at all Mike, I should've been more specific in my question. There definitely seems like there should be but I can't find it.
I'd thought there was a way to move a rule folder to top, but now that I look I don't see it (i was probably remembering the option to move a KC to a top-level object). Any chance you could either move its contents into a new top-level folder, or back-port just that folder from another environment where it was already deployed? I'd assume at least one of these options should be open to you depending on which environment it's in and where you are in your dev cycle.
Yeah, for me moving the contents to a new top level folder looks like the best option. Bit weird you can't move it back to being a top-level folder but this works fine. Thanks Mike.
