Good morning,
I am trying to export from bbdd to csv, I am using nodeExport Data Store Entity to CSVThe export table has more than 50 columns and when executing the process it gives us an error that the maximum size is 50.
Do you know if there is any other solution?
A greeting and thanks in advance

Unfortunately the out-of-the-box smart services don't allow exporting more than 50 columns. Could you provide a form where the user selects which columns they want from the source (and validate so they can only export 50)?
Hello Peter,
No, it is an automatic process that has to export all the columns of a table that right now has 80 fields.
Ok thanks for the information. Can you provide more information about your use case for exporting? What are you doing with the data when you export it, are you using the exported data in another tool, etc? There are a lot other ways to get data out of Appian (you could use a Web API, you can export from the database, you could use the enhanced data pipeline, etc.) and I'm wondering if one of the other use cases could meet your requirements.
Hi Peter!
What we are trying to do is directly from the bbdd export all the columns of a table to CSV.The form in principle would not matter except that we need to take the information from an 80 column table and export in CSV.
Greetings and thank you
I already solved the excel by creating a webApi, do you know how I could do the same for excel? The limitation is the same and I try to do it in a webApi, but I cannot generate it.
I assume you mean you solved the CSV issue? A Web API can only export to CSV, not to Excel.
Unfortunately, like I said the smart services are limited to 50 columns. I'd suggest creating a support case and requesting this feature. Then, Appian Support will record this so our product team will see the request for increasing export to more than 50 columns.
If you open a support case, please also provide why you need this to help us prioritize - for example, why do users need to export all of these columns? What are they doing with the exported data that could not be met using CSV export or the enhanced data pipeline?
