I have registered for ACAD Level 1 certification exam and got below mail from certification group.

2.          Click the ACAD Level 1 Certification Exam task
3.          Download the certification material
4.          Complete the required application and answer the exam questions
5.          Upload your answers using the Certification Exam task

I am not clear with point #3. Are they referring exam itself to "certification material" or "certification material" refers to study material for
certification prepration ?

Can you confirm that you selected select Level 1? The instructions you've received are for ACAD Level 2.

@Patty if its wrong mail which i received thn from where i can sample questions/ certification syllabus. i am also confused for which appian version that exam is tagged..

The exam is for Appian 7.3 and that is the syllabus. We recommend that you have taken Appian Designer training at the very least and have some Appian project experience.
Sample questions are not available.
The exam task you currently have assigned should have ample instructions on how to take it and what to expect.

This is an online multiple choice exam that does not require any downloads.

Thanks for confirmation Mike. Please update clause 2.1 of "Appian Certification Terms and Conditions" which says about certification material . I thought i will get study guide for preparation that is why i enrolled for this exam!!!

One more confusion exam instruction says "You will have 60 minutes to complete the exam."
but on FAQ it says "Participants must complete the exam (once started) within 90 minutes."

I agree with Vahluwalia, I was also very confused with how much time we are allocated for the exam and about the prep material #getyourfaqstraight!
