How much Data Text type field can retain in Appian.

Hi All,

I need to know how much data text type field in a CDT can contain. Suppose i am reading data from a Table A in database in which one column data type clob and i am getting that data in to appian through a CDT which has a field type text mapped to same data type clob in database. So i want to understand whether there will be a problem , if my CDT is referring to a clob field by a text type field, can i lose data because of this casting i am doing in my CDT( I am getting this data through a query entity in appian).
