is there a way to export charts as an image?

I would like to be able to export the charts created within Appian as an image. I know that you can't do it out of the box. I looked into 2 plugins, Generate Chart Image and Chart Generator but I find this highly limited and the images look completely different to the original charts. 

Is there another way of doing this or a plugin I could look into?

Also, is there a way to use javascript within an interface? I think javascript allows you to capture the screen or portions of the screen but I don't know if how to integrate javascript into a sail component.
