The "Save Interface As Action" option is not available to me in the Save Interface As dialog. Can anyone please help on why this behavior?
Thanks in advance.

Hi there,
The reason that you are getting this validation error it is because the interface that you are trying to save as report has Rule Inputs defined on it.
Could you please check if the ri! has dependences in the code? In case there is dependences you will need to change your interface, in case there is no dependence in the ri! remove the rule inputs and try to save the interface as report again.
Check the screenshots below:
1. With rule inputs
2. Without rule input
Let us know if it worked.

Thanks, Acacio, for the response. But you seemed not to get what the issue is. I do not want to save the Interface as a report. But that is the only option available from the Save Interface As dialog. I rather want to save the Interface as Application Action.
The below image is what i am expecting when i click the save as
What is the Appian version ? Cloud or On premise?
I think you are using the basic user account with designer access that's why its not giving that option. if your account is system admin account. you can see it.
Thank you for the comments. I wish I have a way to confirm that is the issue.
Please, can you tell me how to check if I am using basic user account like u think I am ?
Can you see admin console in apps? Only admin user can see it?
No, I cannot. So one can either belong to a basic user account or admin user account? Thanks for the responses

I think the issue is more nuanced than this - in order to see the option for saving as an action, you must be in the Process Model Creators system group. System Administrators are in this group by default, but any user can get access to this option if they belong to this group.
I'd suggest asking your administrator to add you to this group.
Thanks, Peter, for always willing to help out. I have been able to figure it out through @gayathris0003 suggestions.
I am grateful:)
