#emailrecipient Hi all, i'm developing a process that will send email with attachment to customer after our developer submit report. But i kept getting error msg : " No valid recipients resolved " IF the email address is a public email like a@gmail.com and a@yahoo.com.
I already tried pv!email , toemailrecipient(pv!email ), toemailaddress(pv!email ), and toemailrecipient(toemailaddress(pv!email )) and still cant solve the problem, anyone have idea?
Thank you
Teo Fendi...

The right syntax for a string holding an email address is:
=toemailaddress(pv!email )
but if even this one is failing then it could be an issue with your mail server itself preventing the delivery of emails to addresses outside its domain. You should this discuss this with your mail server administrator.

Do Appian have control around the domain the email sent to ? in other words is there a configuration that can be done at Appian to make sending emails to external email addresses fail ? or this is only done at the SMPT server level

Appian has not influence on this decision, it's all SMTP server.
