As we know feeds are displayed in the News section whenever a new feed is submitted.With the advent on v7.4 more and more related to mobility has been introduced.Is there any feature so that new News events can be displayed as a Push notification within the device (ipad/iphone/android phone and tablet).As of now new News feed can be displayed once we are into the application.I want to see a notification in the notification bar of a device as soon as a new feed is posted.Just like we have different push notifications for email,news etc....

Himanshu, I’ve requested an Enhancement from the Product Team to provide this feature in the base product, for all mobile platforms. The reference number for the issue is AN-45358. Please use this reference number (Release Notes) to see if this feature has been added in a newer release of Appian.

In the meanwhile, you might want to take a look at the “Send Push Notifications Using Boxcar” plug-in to see if you can use that for your specific use case.
