Hi all,
We need to delete files from the Appian local file system on linux (Appian 20.2). We are running on premise. Is it possible?
Kind regards,
Jesus

Difficult to answer without details. Are these files stored as Appian documents? Then there is a smart service "Delete Document".
No, they are just excel files stored in the linux file system in the local Appian Server. I have now a workaround which consists on moving the file to Appian and deleting it there. It is not ideal but it does the job. I would prefer to be able to delete directly where it is, though.
That seems weird to me. Where do these files come from?
Why do you move these files into Appian and then delete them? What does this actually mean?
Can you elaborate. I do not understand what this is about.
There is a requirement to delete some files in the file system generated externally. I havent found how can Appian do it out of the box. We could of course use other tools, but at the moment the requirement is to do it inside an Appian process. I was hoping to find a plugin to deal with external files but I havent found any. I could write a plugin as well, that would be another solution.
