Hi Team,
A small help required, there is a report with certain fields to be used as search fields. When the user enters any value in those fields then the system should capture all of the answers the user inputted into the UI and transfer it into the excel template.
Could you please suggest how to achieve this?
Thanks in advance.

What are the "search fields" accomplishing in this context? Can you clarify what you mean by "capture all of the answers.. and transfer it into the excel template"? Do you mean like having a generated excel show the user's hand-entered search terms, in addition to other row/column data output?
Hi Mike,
Your understanding of my question is correct. The user will enter the values in the fields and those values will be used in the excel template along with other row/column.
To achieve this the oldschool method is to map the interface form in process model userinput task and get the values in the process variables. Can you tell any other method to achieve this?
Thanks.
If you've done it that way before, that way should continue working. This paired with using the cell-by-cell value definitions (depending on which Excel generation node you're using) should allow you to accomplish what you're after.
Thankyou Mike, could you please elaborate as i did not get wat you suggest. I want to achieve this without using process model. is it possible? the method which i usually use to achieve this involves process model.
Can you please clarify what method you're wanting to use instead? And why not in a process model?
