Hi,
I am a newbie to Appian and i have been exploring the various functionalities.
I have an Interface (lets' call it Interface A) that uses "Dynamic Link" to add/remove rows in a editable grid. The interface works fine when i test it out in Design/Expression mode. I also have a record type with several views. I added the above Interface A as a view to this record type. I then opened the view by going to the site but for some reason i could not add any new rows. Not sure if i am missing anything.
Thank you for the help.

Why are using editable grid in a view? If you need to modify any thing you can use related action or record action. Views are actually used to show data for a particular record in read only mode .
Thank you Stefan & Gopal. Yes, i am using rule inputs.
User did not like the idea of clicking on a button to see "Interface A". I believe anything that will need to be exposed as a record action would be only through a button, at least that is my understanding as of now.
is it possible to add some screenshots to get a better understanding what you trying to archive? Perhaps we can show you the right direction a bit better.
I think i understand that there are certain things you should do differently when using record views. I want to re-design the interface to use local variables (as per Stefan's suggestion) and see how it goes.
Again, thanks for all the suggestions and help.
Do you need to save modified values from editable grid to database too?
Yes, that is right. I need to save them to the database too.
