Does appian have a built in connector to integrate with Filenet. Anyone done thi

There are no existing connectors for IBM FileNet or IBM CMS , Its kind of hard with IBM server security certificates to send documents etc. In the past I have developed an intermediate C# WCF service and interacted with IBM CMS and from appian perspective it will be a web service consumer.

If your client allows you could use FileNet java api and write a plugin and offcourse going with appian plugin standards.

Ok, in our usecase though, webservice is out of the question - have to talk to filenet via the java api's. Guess we have to write a plugin to accomplish the same
