Hi,
I am working on a process model which has a Create New User smart service and in that smart service, there is an option to send Account creation email which when turned on sends the user an email with Temporary credentials with predefined content.
My current requirement is to change the content of the email. Is there a way to change the content present in Body of the auto generated Temporary Credentials email sent from Appian?

Hi. You cannot change the body of those emails but I think if you provide the temporary password for that user, then the Appian will not send the email for the account creation. If that comes out to be true, then you can send your own custom emails using the send email smart service by formatting them however you like.
Hi, you can not change the content of auto generated emails. But you can use send email smart service for custom body content of the email.
Can you please tell me how to set this temporary password for that user in appian ? I think its a system default email (generated when set to true for sendAccountCreationEmail using Create User Smart Service ). Please let us know the placeholder for altering the temporary password with customization of email template on user creation.
Customized email using send email smart service can be used but how to the capture/pass in the values of temporary password (which gets generated by default system email ) during account creation ?
In short - can we customize the system default password generated email ? If so please elucidate.
Hi Chandrasekaran Eswaramoorthi, I dont think you can get temporary password. But what you can do is, in your custom email, provide a link of the login url of your environment and add some guidance , like, "Please click on this link to login and then click on forget password". This way user can reset their password and they will be able to login.
I hope it helps.
