Is there only a single email address for each group that you can pick from your drop-down? That is: are you only expecting to send an email to one email address? Or do you want to send an email to all user accounts that are members of that group?
Hi, You would need save email id of the selected group in a process variable and then use this process variable in send email smart service. Are you getting any issues?
I will be having multiple users in one group
I didnt get it can you please elaborate
Ok, Do you have email id for each group in your ref table?
No im using ref tables only to fetch dropdown values for users mail ids im using constants
I understand that a Group will have multiple Users. I guess the question is:
The two options have different pros and cons (the first is easier, but it's possible for the list of users in the distribution group is different from the list of users in the group), whereas the latter is harder to implement but guarantees that the correct users receive a copy of the email
1st case suits me
So if you create your Group from a Group Type that you define, you an have custom attributes defined for that Group instance. You could then use a custom attribute to hold the email distribution group value. Alternatively you could hold the value in a database table and use the Group to lookup the relevant email address value. Again, both have pros and cons.
create constant and add email group with in the constant, call that constant in your target environment
