My requirement is to display the date-time field in (dd-MMM-yyyy hh: mm a z), I am able to format using the date text function but the timezone is coming as GMT +5:30 when the user changes the timezone setting for eg (IST) other than the system default timezone.
I wanted to know if there is a workaround to display timezone in short form, for eg IST, EST, etc.

I do not know of any OOTB way of doing this. Can you give us a bit of a background? Where is that date coming from?
