In one process I am Using Send Email Notification and while executing it is failing and the error message is "Failed to send Email".
Can anyone help me in this, what can be the cause of this.

Did you check the tomcat std out log file?
I have seen this error mostly related to non-existing email addresses.
To add, we typically see this error when the node is configured to send to a user account, and the account becomes deactivated prior to the send attempt.
I got the same error(Failed to send email). The user account is active, and the user email is also valid.
Any ideas?
For us, the issue seemed to be caused by email recipient's Mimecast blocking the email.
Can we handle this situation in Email set up node ? means if I passed a group directly as email recipients may result in failure if no users found, how to handle this scenario?
How about using the groupMembers() function to get group members and checking if the list is empty?

check if email correct and check the log for more detail.

There is also a limit of 50 0r 100 recipients depending on what admin has set, if in your case recipients are more, than also it will throw this error
Check if the email adress is valid or not, I got the same issue in my case email address was not valid.
