Hi All,
As the application name and its prefix has been changed after the half way across the development, we are now in need to change the existing appian objects to the new prefix. While doing so, I'm trying to change the CDT, Data Store etc.. ( AFAIK while is the most tedious task) but getting the below error : is there any best practices for changing the prefix for CDT , DB tables , Data store , records etc ? Can someone please elucidate ?

You will simply not be able to change the name of the CDT. That means no change in the prefix also.
Unfortunately you can not change the CDT name once created. The alternative solution is create new CDT by downloading existing CDT XSD and modify that XSD with new name and create new CDT (Keep in mind this is not a best solution since you need to update all the objects where ever you have these CDTs)
How does it even counts as a solution if you have to redo the whole thing again? Isn't it just like building an application again?
