Appian Community and Appian Academy are being upgraded. From July 24–August 3, the Appian Community will be in read-only mode. During this time, the site will be read-only and user registration will be disabled. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but a more secure, stable, and performant Community experience is coming soon!
The new Appian Community launches August 3, followed by Appian Academy on August 7. During the migration, Appian Community Edition, Appian Academy, Documentation, Certifications, Instructor-led Customer Training, Partner Sales Training & Accreditation, and Forum (for Appian Partners and Customers only) will remain available.

Can you help in creating a pdf template
You can do this many ways...If you have an Adobe version that let's you create a document. You can create a XLS or PPT or Word doc and print to PDF, then either use Adobe to prepare the form to add the fields or an online tool like PDFEscape to add fields that Appian can recognize.
Hi Christine, I know how to create a template using Adobe and then create a pdf out of it in Appian. But how can I use xsl instead of the template as you mentioned? Is there a way to create this xsl (is this xsl:fo?) using the pdftools plugin? Won't it be complicated if the pdf layout becomes intricate?
