Appian Community and Appian Academy are being upgraded. From July 24–August 3, the Appian Community will be in read-only mode. During this time, the site will be read-only and user registration will be disabled. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but a more secure, stable, and performant Community experience is coming soon!
The new Appian Community launches August 3, followed by Appian Academy on August 7. During the migration, Appian Community Edition, Appian Academy, Documentation, Certifications, Instructor-led Customer Training, Partner Sales Training & Accreditation, and Forum (for Appian Partners and Customers only) will remain available.
Hi everyone,
when ever we create any Appian objects, will it create any column or row in database referring to that object?
Thank you all in advance!

This implementation is hidden from Appian developers. What are you trying to achieve here?
Hi Stewart Burchell,
Actually I worked on different BPM tool before start working on Appian, In that BPM tool when ever we create any object from tool side that will automatically create table or row or column depends on the scenario.
Just wanted to know how Appian works and how the structure is.
Thank you!!
appian is not a BPMN tool. That is a misunderstanding. Its a development platform which uses BPMN Logic and technology around it. It has a BPMN process engine but its not a "tool".
