Appian Community and Appian Academy are being upgraded. From July 24–August 3, the Appian Community will be in read-only mode. During this time, the site will be read-only and user registration will be disabled. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but a more secure, stable, and performant Community experience is coming soon!
The new Appian Community launches August 3, followed by Appian Academy on August 7. During the migration, Appian Community Edition, Appian Academy, Documentation, Certifications, Instructor-led Customer Training, Partner Sales Training & Accreditation, and Forum (for Appian Partners and Customers only) will remain available.
Hi Community,
One of our new project ask is to have Appian support branching, merging and deployment basically to set up complete CI/CD.
How can we do that?
We need more than one developer working on the same object and then merging them like using git version control.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks,

We typically work on a shared environment. Most of my clients are just fine with this and there is no need to set up any classical CI/CD.
But our client is emphasizing on this, they basically want two people working on same object at the same time not by mutual understanding.
In my experience, this will not work very well, as we do not work with source code in Appian.
