The database shows the 2022-08-01 14:00:00:00, and it is defined as the date time field on data base side. But when I do the query via CDT its shows 08/01/2022 9:00 am CDT ( 5 hour difference )

All date/time values are stored in the database as GMT / UTC values. When displaying anything in the front-end, Appian automatically converts that value to show the equivalent value in the user's chosen time zone (or by default the system's time zone). This is not an error.
