I have gone through the document you sent, but I didn't get a clear idea.
If you don't mind please list out the steps to achieve this.
Thanks in advance.
Please explain what you want to achieve.
I just want to create one user in the database and also give some privileges to the role to which it was added.
What user you are trying to Add? Appian user? If Yes, then why not you are using the Appian environment to do this?
Again. Security in Appian is NOT based on DB users.
Now, what is your higher level goal? Please elaborate and we try to support you in your design.
Cloud database restricting me from performing DCL commands
That does not help us to understand your use case. What do you want to achieve managing users in the DB?
I just want to restrict some database users from performing some operations on particular tables
# Apologies for the late response
OK, but why? Appian does not work like this.
