As Stefan notes, it is difficult to assist as we do not have any knowledge on your Project Management Tool.
However if you are talking generally about Appian task acceptance and rejection capabilities, there are no "issues" that I know of - aside from my users occasionally thinking they have submitted a "Reject" disposition to the business approval, where in essence by using the OOTB Reject feature they have only returned the task to the group it was initially assigned, minus the user who rejected, with no continuation of the workflow.

Hi sorry for the confusion, I just want to know more about the Task accepting and the rejection capabilities side of things, as what is the differences between those two. I don't know really how both of them works in general.

These are built in features that only update task assignment.
Say a task is assigned to a group of users A, B, C. When user A "Accepts" the task, it is removed from the queue of users B and C, at that time only assigned to user A (it is their task only now).
On the other hand, when user A rejects the task, it is removed from user A's queue and returns to users B and C (the other users in the group).
