Working with a student who accidentally deleted an images folder. He can put the images back but they all have new ids, so the table which stores the id numbers is now woefully out of date. Is there any way to assign an id to an image, so that the images we recreate will have the same numbers as the table?

Not that i'm aware of, sorry. If the document has been deleted i think it's not possible to add a new version of the previous one
Can't you work your way backwards? It seems that you now which document has which ID, you could update the DB line with the new Doc Id, can't you?
Maybe. Would the meta data contain the id?
oooh, just found it - getdocumentinternalidsfromfolder() - quite the mouthful but will probably work. From there I can write a process model that will go through the docs, match vehicle makes to doc names, and assign the appropriate ids. At least I think. Thank you!!!!!!!
