I am working on a use case where i need to first convert CSV to excel then import converted excel with extra column to a staging table.
Reason to use import excel to database intend of directly using csv to database is i need to dynamically add process instance id in staging table. I didn't find any option to achieve same in CSV to Database.
CSV to excel is working fine. I am able to generate XLSX file and passing it to import excel to database. My process is getting completed successfully but i don't see data in staging table.
I tried converting csv to xlsx in my local machine and used locally converted xlsx in process model, it worked but same when i am trying to achieve from CSV to excel smart service generated excel, data is not getting imported. I don't have auto generated column in my XLSX file.
Please advice what can be done resolve this issue.

What smart service did you use for importing CSV to Database ?
Did you try the additional columns parameter present in 'Import CSV to Database' smart service?
It should work and would remove any requirement for your excel conversion !
Hi agam, Thanks for your replay. After your comment i checked plug in version and looks like we are on older version of excel tool hence don't have new column option in CSV to Database.
I created new CSV templet from database, this time converted excel has worked. I still don't understand why it didn't worked last time as I followed same process. Anyway this is resolved now and thanks for your help.
I'm having issues converting CSV to Excel with the CSV to Excel plug in, could you please indicate how are you doing that conversion?
