Hi All,
I need to extract the process completion date of process instances which has been archived. Is there any way that I can extract the archival processes in report.

short: no. "Data for processes that have completed (which are no longer needed for auditing or reporting purposes) must be archived regularly. Archiving a process removes it from being used by the process analytics engine."see here.https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/22.3/Managing_Process_Archives.htmlthe sense of a archiving a process is a kind of "clean up". an admin can reopen the archive and so on, but not like you would need it as a report.
is there any way that we can capture the process start date and end date of archival processes?
again, not like you would need it. Appian states itself:

and you try to do a reporting on archived processes, which is not matching with the purpose of "archiving a process".
To note, from the Process Activity documentation:
"Currently, Archived Processes are available under the Process Activity tab for all new environments starting on Appian 21.1 or later versions."
Which Appian version are you on? Cloud or on-prem?

this is not helping getting a report or am i wrong here?
Until we get more details, my guess is this situation is something like - due to a bug which missed saving some process instances' completion times, they need to be pulled from the archive data to maybe save to DB for reporting/auditing? Not sure of the quantity or if this is a one-time initiative, I can't see any reason to add this to normal process reporting.
I'm not sure if will help the use case here to view archived process instances in monitoring mode (which includes the end time), but just wanted to note that related functionality in the thread.
Hopefully we will get some more details on the use case.
Chris you are right. I need to store the process end to store in database. So archival process report. Its one time initiative. I want to extract 1500 archival process instance. Suggest me here way to do this.
whats the version you are working on?
version 22.3 on Appian cloud.
AFAIK this feature never materialized (or at least, in the 21.1 release notes, it was promised that this feature would be rolling out to other cloud installs "shortly", but since then the only activity has been to take that filter option away in the process monitoring tab, and when I asked about it i was greeted mainly with confusion and indecisive feedback...)
