I am working on the Appian portal and trying to upload more than 1 file at a single time, I used maxSelections in file upload field but its not working
I am using record Type and local variable because we can't use rule inputs in the portal.
Below is my interface code and CDT .

The field in your CDT is no list and cannot take more than one file.
I tried in that way also and made the field array but in database, it creates one more table i.e. APEMPLOYEE_filesUpload
Sure, that is how a relational database works. Is that an issue?

and the point is how to map the fields in the Interface
and we have to create the record type also?
You do not need to do anything special in the interface. Just use that field as the value and saveinto on your fileUploadField.
You can query the data using a!queryEntity and Appian will fetch the files automatically.
