Hello spykid,
Not Sure what you are asking. But if your question was what language do we use in Appian to create rules, interfaces then the answer is SAIL.
Self-Assembling Interface Layer.
Read this for more
docs.appian.com/.../SAIL_Design.html.
If your question is how is Appian built, then you can refer this https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/21.4/Enterprise_Architecture_Overview.html
Hope this helps
Konduru ChaitanyaThanks you for your reply.
As my understand SAIL (Self-Assembling Interface Layer)is a framework when we create interfaces,rules,etc...... in appian.
My question is that framework is written by which language?
In short, I believe Appian is coded primarily in Java, and there's also some javaScript in there, as well as other technologies. The objects themselves are saved as XML files. The pipeline could very well be Python, for all I know. It seems there's hardly a thing written anymore that's only in one language.
There's some projects out there that aren't even made in just one low-code platform.
Its Java
