I am getting an error on a write to data store entity node called object is an unsaved transient instance - save the transient instance before merging. Don't know what this error means. Can anybody help?...

Aswin, the error message that you've posted seems to generic. Do yo mind sharing the app-server log that showcases the ERROR in the stack trace?
