How to encrypt and store passwords?

I want to store my passwords in an encrypted format and then decrypt them when using in integration. Is there a way to do that?

You can do one or a combination of these three things. 
 
 Use encryptedTextField 
 Use textField with masked as true 
 Create your own encrypting and decrypting algorithm and keep the key in a constant that not a lot of people have access to, from the designers.
