Hello,
I wanted to have a link to a text in paging grid. The link should point to a document present on local drive.
Say, the text is - XYZ.
Link to this text should be - D:\\ABC\\xyz.doc
I tried with safelink but it give me error - "not a permitted URI under the configured security rules".
How can we achieve this? Any idea?

a!safeLink function is to link to the URL's and not the system path. My suggestion would be upload the xyz.doc in Appian document repository then use a!documentDownloadLink().

Thanks for your reply!
Actually, my use case is to have a link to a document present on the local drive. I know that uploading document in Appian will work fine.
Any suggestions on this please?

Does using the URI for a local file suffice? IE:
file:///D:/ABC/xyz.doc
