My customer wants to use the chat function.
We are considering linking the chat system from an external system, but we would like to complete the exchange of messages within Appian as much as possible.
Basically, the interaction is one-on-one, and it is assumed that the user will initiate a chat when making an inquiry to the administrator.
Please let me know if the above chat function can be realized within Appian.

A chat-like functionality can be implemented. The only issue is, that the UI can only refresh in a 30-seconds interval as a minimum.

Not sure what you are looking for.
Think of a chat box, just displays posts in an order queried from database. Each chat session should have a unique identifier to group posts.
