Hello, you can modify the report definition to achieve this. That report's "Name" column is configured to link to more information and by default links to the task. You can switch that configuration to be a portal page or perhaps a process dashboard.

It is currently linked to the task but the client would like it to link to the case dashboard that the task is associated to, which is a portal page.
It give an option to link to a "Portal Page" but the tp!display variable is not allowing a link to the page.
Any advice is much appreciated.

You have to input a page id if it is actually a portal page, but it sounds like you need to link to a process dashboard. If that is the case, then you should select process dashboard for the link to more information configuration. Then select pp!id.
