Hi Team,
I have a column(Assignees) in a record type, there in the filter I'm thinking to write a logic like below
a!queryFilter( field: 'recordType!Record Details.fields.assignees', operator: "=", value: loggedInUser() ),
id, Assignee(text)
-----------------------
1, "user1;user2"
2, "user2"
if the user1 login, record 1 should be displayed in the grid
if the user2 login, record 1,2 should be displayed in the grid

Storing multiple values in one field will not work. What are you trying to achieve?
I would like to display all the records that assginee column has loggedin user as value
If you are facing an error , please be specific about it.
I'm unable to build the implementation to result the expected records in the grid
Have you tried to add this a!queryFilter() in the a!gridField using the data field of it using a!dataRecord() function?
Can you please explain it clearly with a sample code/example
Have you tried something like this...
a!gridField( data: a!recordData( recordType: 'recordType!Record Details', filters: a!queryFilter( field: 'recordType!Record Details.fields.assignees', operator: "=", value: loggedInUser() ), ), )
I suggest to create an additional record for assignees and a one-to-many relationship to store assignee date. Then you can directly query your main records.
yes
field: 'recordType!Record Details.fields.assignees', is in text of mutliple user names
The above code does not work
Can you please elaborate
Merging a list of values into a single string and storing that in a field is not a valid approach to achieve your goal.
Have a look at this article to get a basic idea of the principle. In your case you will not use record security rules, but just a filter when querying your data.
