The requirement is - There will be a keyword and we have to search for that predefined keyword within a PDF file uploaded by the end user. If the keyword is not there within the file then prompt the user. Please let me know if it is doable. Do I need any plugin?. Thank you

In the plugin PDF Tools you find the function getpdftext(). It can extract the text layer of PDFs. That would be my first try.
