Hi All,

I have a problem with the Appian generated document id. I have a generate word document from template node and its created document is saved to a pv!document. The value inside this pv does not match the document id of the generated document. I actually went to the folder where the document is getting saved and I selected the document and clicked on properties and its document id is different from what is inside this pv!document. Any ideas on why this is happening?...

To add to my previous comment, as soon as you upload a document, it's assigned a temporary id (and the document itself is kept in temporary documents folder). Once you submit the form, your document is moved to target folder and a permanent id is assigned. Use the document id that is generated once you submit the form.
