Hi,
I have a requirement to display an interface that includes a calendar (I'm using the googlecalendarchartfield plugin) to users who don't have an Appian account.
I thought of creating a portal as a possible option, but when I publish the calendar interface, it shows the following message in the portal:
I have read that this is because portals are not compatible with plugins.
Is there any other alternative to display the interface to users who are not in Appian?
Thank you very much.

So, back away from "the calendar is the solution" for a moment...what do you need to display to the anonymous users who are visiting the portal? What information do they need to see? What will they use it for?
Anonymous users visiting that portal need to see the calendar, as it displays reservations made through a process within Appian. Although they don't have an Appian account, it has to be public, allowing them to visually see who has made those reservations.
They will only use it to view reservations:
The same interface is used within Appian for users with accounts to view it. What is needed is a way to grant access to those users who don't have an Appian account.
Thank you
Ok thanks. So, yes, you're correct in that currently an Appian Portal doesn't support the use of plug-ins.
Given that the calendar plug-in is simply one visual way of representing some data that is held elsewhere in an application (e.g. in a database) you could render the data in, say, a list form e.g. in a read-only grid. I know it's not ideal but it would meet the abstracted objective.
An option could also be a grid heat map showing one grid per month.

Is there any way from the portal to launch the process that has the initial form with the interface, and to be able to view or generate a task by initiating the process, opening it to the user who initiated it from the portal?
Or, through a URL, access the action that is on the site and displays the calendar?
You cannot assign a task to an anonymous portal user.
