Hi All,
I have a textbox that is readonly and is also required. If the value is empty inside the textbox it will issue an error called "A value is required". Is there any way by which I can change the error message to display something else more intuitive, like for instance if the value inside the textbox is empty I would like to say "Please go back to so and so page and add it".
thanks,
Aswin...

If this is on a SAIL form you can set up a custom validation message:
forum.appian.com/.../SAIL_Recipes
Can you explain why the field is readOnly though? If that option is set, the user will not be able to modify it, and then the form will get stuck
