When I select CDT in datastore. I got this type of error.
Error:
"An error was encountered while processing your request. Please try again."
what should I do with this.

Please check the system log files for anything that might seem to be related. Additionally if it persists, you can try posting screenshots here of the exact behavior. If you're working with an Appian Cloud instance, I'd suggest opening a support case, particularly if this behavior started without any new changes on your end.
Anytime you are only posting the issue without providing any additional information about it. It basically becomes a guessing game for us.
When I select CDT after clicking browse of "Type ". It shows the error and datastore is not able to open .
Did you try creating a new Data store?

There are a couple of steps you can perform to isolate the issue before you go ahead to raise a support case with Appian.
If none of these work and nothing is there in the tomcat-stdout file, then please raise a support case with Appian.
Try to provoke the error and then share the last few 100 lines of the file.
