Hi guys,
Have question that we are having user login through SSO, also set-up the SAML. So when the user first time login, Appian will create this "New User" also add them to the group.
So the issue is we also need update DB, just wondering is there anyway we can trigger a PM to update user DB once we have a new user or a group got update?
Or it can be set-up via SAML?
Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks in Advance.

AFAIK, it's not available OOTB. You might have to build schedular process which runs daily to check newly created user and update DB accordingly.
You can auto-provision the user and synchronize the groups the first time the user logs in.
I would personally just have them land on a welcome page where you simply add them to the DB after they press a button.
Hi gavins5922 i think you can run a schedule process daily to check if any new user created if yes take the new date and trigger the PM to update user in DB.
Problem with the scheduled process is that the app won't work for the user until the process runs. So that might be the next day.
Yep that is what was trying to do, already go through the documentation but for adding group only see a single "Group Type" setting. Will it auto sync to group by the "group" value from SAML attributes? Cause we have bunch users and need to add to different groups.
Welcome Page looks like a good approach. Thanks!
