I am trying to create an expression rule that will return the first name and the last name of a user given the input of the userid. Works like a charm in most cases. I have added a check for null and blanks without any problems. But I am running into an issue with how to check if the userid is valid. I have tried the function isuseractive and is usermemberofgroup (All Users) but both fail when an invalid userid is entered. Any thoughts? As usual I am sure someone has run into this issue and already solved the problem....
