We want to be able to Unsubscribe users from posts update notifications(Emails), without actually removing the post from users view. They should still be able to view the post, but not receive emails on updates on the Post.

How can this be achieved in tempo Appian 7.3?...

This is currently not available in the product. You can continue to review the release notes of future versions to see if this feature is included in the product.
