Hi All,
We have a requirement where external system wants to embed Appian interface. But the problem is we need information from the external system so that we can show up on Appian embedded interface.
I have gone through documentation (https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/23.4/Embedded_Interfaces.html) but couldn't find anything on how to get parameters from external website.
Appreciate your response.

I think you will have to use Web API and Integration objects to exchange the information between two systems.
Closest thing is to use a Record View and pass the Record Identifier.

But this record Identifier is Appian’s record ID, right? I want parameter from external system (in our case it’s Salesforce) to pass to Appian when we embed the interface.
Our use case is to use embedded interface.
Hello priyankag5235 Please refer this documentation on How to use records when you have external data in Salesforce that you want to use in a record type.Salesforce object-Records
Technically, if you have a synched Salesforce record the Appian Record identifier should be the same as Salesforce.
