we are able to upload files with extensions(docx,xlsx) to documentum.but we are facing issues, while retrieving from Documentum to Appian, we are not able to get the extension, instead saving as type "file".is anyone facing this issue and let me know the leads.

Can you share details please? How are you integrating with documentum (integration via api, smart service ad hoc....)? which metadata are you receiving? when you say "saving as type "file",,,, are you refering to the name of the file created in appian?
